Tofu noodle soup



This is a great soup, a meal in itself, with a distinct asian flavour : the combination of turmeric, cumin, ginger , chilli paste , garlic ,,,and coconut milk + fresh coriander ....ummm you will love it


Carrot & coriander soup



Autumn is upon us , and so is the soup season ... In the evening I am happy with just a soup (albeit a rather large portion !) with a garlic toast ....
This one is simple and  the combination of carrots and coriander is simply delicious

Grilled Herring




Description:

One of the cheapest meals ever , yet one of the most nutritious and delicious there is!!! no cooking skills required !! only a small barbecue , or even an oven grill
ONLY DRAWBACK (especially for those in flats and houses without outdoor facility): Herring grilling is SMELLY , but the enjoyment is such that it is worth putting up with the smell

Reminescing about the old days in London, i started browsing a cookery book (as one does) which I purchased at an excellent vegetarian restaurant situated below a church, in the heart of the city, aptly named : "The place below"
